The Surrey Cyber Security Cluster (SCSC) is delighted to announce Zoë Bowden as our new Industry Brand Ambassador.
Zoë brings over two decades of leadership experience across the aerospace, space, manufacturing, and advanced technology sectors, with a proven track record of driving collaboration between business, government, and innovation communities. A passionate advocate for sustainability, security, and SME engagement, Zoë’s career has been dedicated to creating meaningful connections that turn strategy into real-world impact.
As Director of Wren Junction Ltd, Zoë works with small and medium-sized enterprises to embed sustainability and resilience into their business models, helping them access and grow within high-tech sectors. Her previous role as Procurement Manager and Sustainability Lead at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) saw her champion ethical procurement practices, lead MOD Social Value strategies, and integrate ISO27001 cybersecurity standards into complex supply chains.
Zoë is also a Founder Advisory Board Member for Space South Central, the UK’s largest space cluster, where she helped shape strategic direction, champion SME participation, and support the cluster in securing over £4 million in UK Space Agency funding to boost innovation and skills development. In addition, she serves as a Senior Advisor at CIFAL Surrey, a UNITAR-accredited centre for sustainability leadership, supporting SMEs in developing future-ready strategies.
Holding MCIPS Chartered Professional status and a graduate of the Sustainability Leadership Programme at Imperial College London, Zoë’s credentials reflect both depth of expertise and commitment to continuous improvement. Beyond her professional roles, she is an active STEM and Climate Ambassador and a member of the Parkinson’s UK Tech Steering Board, championing social impact and inclusive innovation.
Zoë’s mission aligns closely with the goals of the Surrey Cyber Security Cluster — to strengthen regional innovation, enhance cyber resilience, and create inclusive growth opportunities across Surrey.
Her appointment as Industry Brand Ambassador marks an exciting step forward for SCSC as we continue to grow our network, empower SMEs, and foster collaboration across the South East and beyond.
